Your complete guide
to Caledo.
From setting up your first workspace to mastering notifications and cards — everything you need to know, in order.
Name & logo
The first section when creating or editing a workspace is Identity: a logo and a name.
The logo is a photo you pick from your Photos library — your company logo, a project image, anything that identifies that workspace at a glance. If you don't set one, Caledo shows a default building icon. The logo appears in the workspace picker and in the top bar of the dashboard.
The name is the label for this workspace — e.g. Work, Home, Studio. It appears in the top bar whenever that workspace is active.
The Edit workspace screen — contains all settings covered in steps 01–05.
Tip: Use your company logo or a recognisable image — you'll see it every time you switch between workspaces in the picker.
Main cycle
Under Main cycle, the Calendar view setting defines the planning rhythm of the workspace: Weekly or Monthly.
Choose Monthly for workspaces oriented around monthly deadlines (accounting, reports, billing). Choose Weekly for workspaces with a weekly rhythm (routines, daily ops). The cycle drives the calendar view and recurring card logic.

Background
Each workspace can have its own background, visible in the dashboard when that workspace is active. Three modes are available:
- —None — clean system background, always available.
- —Colors — flat gradient presets, adapted to your device's light/dark mode.
- —Wallpapers — 8 photographic presets, or use any photo from your Photos library. Premium
The background picker — three modes: None, Colors and Wallpapers (Premium).

Day start time & notifications
The Day start time (default 09:00) is when Caledo sends your daily summary. As the app itself says:
"If tasks are scheduled for this day, Caledo will send a single summary notification at this time. Tasks with a custom time keep their own dedicated notification."
Think of it as your daily briefing: one notification, all your tasks for the day, right when you're ready to start.
Day
If tasks are scheduled for this day, Caledo will send a single summary notification at this time. Tasks with a custom time keep their own dedicated notification.

Tax review, Client meeting, Invoice draft…
Note: Tasks with a custom time always fire at their own dedicated time — not at the day start time.
iOS Calendar integration
Under Calendar, the iOS Calendar toggle lets Caledo "show events from the selected device calendars in this workspace." You can enable it per-workspace and choose exactly which calendars to display.
For example: your Work workspace shows only the Company calendar, while your Home workspace shows only Personal. On first use, Caledo will request calendar access from iOS.
